Red Maple Cabin is a modern, totally equipped vacation cabin with a large, covered, wrap-around deck. Located in a very remote, wooded location, you will have the peace and quiet you desire while still being close to Cook Forest State Park.
Red Maple Cabin features a large combined living room & dining area. A separate country kitchen has microwave, stove, refrigerator, toaster, drip coffee pot, Keurig coffee pot, dishes, cookware and silverware. The living room has satellite TV. The cabin has a bathroom with a shower. Air Conditioning has been installed in this cabin.
For heat, Red Maple Cabin has a Warm Morning Gas Stove in the living room and also an auxiliary gas furnace.
Red Maple Cabin sleeps 2 to 6 persons in 2 bedrooms. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and a set of queen bunk beds in the second bedroom. This arrangement gives you 3 queen beds which is comfortable for 6 persons.
The outside picnic area for Red Maple Cabin includes the large front porch/deck with wooden porch furniture. There is a picnic table with a fire pit and a charcoal grill in the picnic area. Red Maple is located on 1 acre but is surrounded by acres and acres of unoccupied woodland all around the cabin.Â
Red Maple Cabin accommodates a total of 6 persons. Base rate is for 4 persons. There is an additional $15 per person over 4 persons in Red Maple Cabin. Pre-approved pets are $15 per night per pet with a maximum of 2 pets per cabin.Â
IN-SEASON RATE FOR RED MAPLE CABIN: (May 1 to Oct 31)
Fri & Sat Rate $230/night. Sun-Thurs Rate $200/night. Weekly (7 night rate) $1,170.

Fri & Sat Rate $200/night.. Sun-Thurs Rate $175/night. Weekly (7 night rate) $1,015.
All rates are plus 9% hotel tax.
A 5% Administration Fee is required as of 2023. This Admin Fee is a recurring fee intended to help cover the costs of account maintenance, invoicing, and payment processing.

Cancellation Policy
If you find it necessary to cancel your reservation by noon thirty (30) days prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded less a re-booking fee of $75.00. Or, you may choose to apply your deposit, less the re-booking fee to a future visit within 6 months. You will forfeit your deposit if you cancel within the thirty (30) day period prior to your reservation date. Persons who arrive late or depart early receive neither a credit nor a refund.
During your stay in the cabin(s), the Owner strives to maintain the property so that you, the Guest, experience a clean and safe stay. While there may be circumstances beyond the Owner's control, the Owner will make reasonable efforts to deal with any malfunctions. The Owner cannot refund any monies due to such malfunctions but will respond as quickly as possible to make repairs or restore services. Power failures due to storms, etc. are considered beyond the Owner's control and will not constitute a refund of money. The Owner shall have the right of access to the Premises for repair and maintenance during reasonable hours.
Deposit Policy
Your deposit to hold your advance reservation is 50% of your rental fee and is to be received within 7 days of making your reservation. Deposits can be paid with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, your debit card, check or money order.
Rate varies due to seasonality and holidays. Please select your dates on our online booking calendar for an exact quote.

This cabin is perfect for us. Now as I sit to write of our stay in the book I noticed it is coming to an end. My only suggestion is PLEASE somehow keep the old pages so we can look back every year on our old visits. Maybe a notebook w/inserts?

Clean, always love this cabin.
Our recent stay at the Red Maple cabin was super! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We hiked at nearby Cook Forest then returned to the cozy cabin for relaxing games and yummy food. Pat and Bill
Your cabin was well beyond our expectations. It was clean and located in a beautiful spot. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! It was also important that we could bring our dogs. We will be back!

The area is great as always, however, the only complaint about the cabin is the bathroom. The hole at the base of the shower in the floor is concerning. Everything else was good.
We enjoyed the cabin, and everything in the area. We would love to come back.
Red Maple is absolutely beautiful. It accommodated our family of 4 with 2 dog comfortably. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you for everything. We also enjoyed the area!! Trails, Farmers Inn, Tommy's Pizza. All were amazing!!
We absolutely love staying with Top Hill Cabins!! The cabins are beautiful as well as the area. The only issue is the cell phone service, and lack of wifi.

The can opener was broken when we got arrived. We accidently broke the inside handle of the main screen door, sorry if we owe money please let us know.
