
Herb & Fiber Festival
June 3 and 4, 2023
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This is the 39th year for the Herb & Fiber Festival at the Sawmill Center for the Arts on Forest Road in Cook Forest. Hundreds of people attend this event. Hanging baskets are featured as well as bedding flats, perennials, annuals, garden artists and herbs. You don’t want to miss this popular event.

This is the 19th Annual French & Indian War Encampment at Cook Forest.
The Cook Forest French & Indian War Encampment is scheduled for Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, June 11, at the Sawmill Center for the Arts.

Woodcarvers Festival
July 8 and 9, 2023
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You will witness wood carvers carefully hand-carving creations which are then judged by professional carvers. These impressive works of art are displayed throughout the weekend, and many are available for purchase.
There will also be a carving class, demonstrations of wood carving, and many vendors at the festival.

Chainsaw Carvers’ Round-Up
September 15 to 17, 2023
Daily: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
1st Auction on Saturday (16th) at 4 p.m.
2nd Auction on Sunday (17th) at 3:30 p.m.
Auction Registration begins at 3:00 p.m.
Come see Chainsaw Carvers in action as they create beautiful wood carvings from a simple log.
Stay for the auctions to bid on and purchase some of these beautiful pieces!
The Sawmill Craft Market will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Cook Forest Gingerbread Tour
November 3 to 5, 2023
Friday & Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The annual Gingerbread Tour from goes from Cook Forest to Historic Brookville. The Sawmill Center’s bountiful craft market boasts more than 80 local artisans displaying hand-crafted items. In addition, there will be many other vendors set up just for this weekend. All work is proclaimed to be the highest quality and craftsmanship. Indoor table events ongoing all weekend.
