Maple Grove Cabin is a comfortable, air-conditioned retreat designed for relaxing stays in the peaceful setting of Cook Forest. With a spacious layout and inviting outdoor areas, it’s a great choice for families or small groups looking to unwind.
Inside, the cabin features a large combined living and dining area with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. The separate country kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, and single-serve Keurig, along with all cookware, dishes, and utensils needed for your stay. The living room also includes satellite TV and a DVD player. A full bathroom with a shower is provided.
Maple Grove sleeps between 1 and 6 guests across two bedrooms. The master bedroom features one queen bed, while the second bedroom includes two double beds, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for families or groups.
Outside, you’ll find a welcoming space to enjoy the outdoors. A large back porch provides plenty of room to relax, while the covered front porch adds additional seating. The private picnic area includes a swing by the fire pit, a picnic table, and a charcoal grill—perfect for outdoor meals and evening campfires.
Maple Grove Cabin accommodates a total of 6 persons. The base rate is for 4 persons. There is an additional $15 per person for each person over 4 in Maple Grove Cabin.
Pre-approved pets are $15 per night per pet, with a maximum of 2 pets per cabin.

Cancellation Policy
If you find it necessary to cancel your reservation by noon thirty (30) days prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded less a re-booking fee of $75.00. Or, you may choose to apply your deposit, less the re-booking fee to a future visit within 6 months. You will forfeit your deposit if you cancel within the thirty (30) day period prior to your reservation date. Persons who arrive late or depart early receive neither a credit nor a refund.
During your stay in the cabin(s), the Owner strives to maintain the property so that you, the Guest, experience a clean and safe stay. While there may be circumstances beyond the Owner's control, the Owner will make reasonable efforts to deal with any malfunctions. The Owner cannot refund any monies due to such malfunctions but will respond as quickly as possible to make repairs or restore services. Power failures due to storms, etc. are considered beyond the Owner's control and will not constitute a refund of money. The Owner shall have the right of access to the Premises for repair and maintenance during reasonable hours.
Deposit Policy
Your deposit to hold your advance reservation is 50% of your rental fee and is to be received within 7 days of making your reservation. Deposits can be paid with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, your debit card, check or money order.

Was hard to communicate without internet or phone service at the location. However, the place was very peaceful
the maple grove cabin was lovely! peaceful, SO close to cook forest, and the perfect place to rest in between adventures. lois was as responsive as can be!
Very clean and beautiful. My only regret was not being there very much! I was visiting friends. It had more than I needed. The peaceful quiet setting was what I needed most.
Great location and loved not having service and spending time with family at Maple Grove Cabin. Very clean and as pictured, beautiful area and will be renting again.

We were very pleased with the Maple Grove cabin we chose for our stay in Cook Forest. The cabin was neat and clean and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The price to rent it was great! We were even able to walk to a lovely restaurant for dinner one evening. Any of Lois's cabins, I feel, would be a great choice!

Just a suggestion!! I would put firewood on porch so if and when it rains , the firewood isn't wet.
