Loved the birds and deer. Lovely cabin.
Wonderful!
Cabin was very clean.
We had the best time! Beautiful, clean cabin.
We all loved it. Can't wait to come back. The only thing is having a bath mat in the bathroom would be a nice touch.
Would like to have screen door on porch side.
We always love staying at your cabins! They are always clean and well- maintained. The new cabin is beautiful nd we will be back. We enjoy talking with you whenever we see you also.
Great location and would come again if possible.
We will be back!
The cabin was clean and perfectly equipped. Thank you!
Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!
Everything was great!
Thanks for having us! We have been coming since we were dating! Now we are engaged with a 2 year old and twins on the way. See ya next year.
Ants around the sink. 1 light out in living room, and 1 flickers alot. Very nice second time here. We will be back.
We had a great time in the cabin and we got to do a lot of fun stuff here. My favorite part was when we roasted marshmallows, my mom's was when we went on the canoes, dad's was when we had a marshmallow fight, my little brothers was when we went on the go karts, and my little sisters was the bunk beds. So that was out three days here and we hope to come back too.
Arrived Friday at 3:30 at the Douglas Fir Cabin. What a relaxing few days, we should have stayed a few more nights. Our Scottish Terrier (Oliver) loved it here. The cabin was very clean and homey. Lois and Larry were GREAT hosts! We can not wait to come back!
My boyfriend brought me to the Douglas Fir cabin for my 27th birthday weekend for a relaxing escape from the city, which we certainly found. We have really enjoyed out time in Cook Forest and this quaint, welcoming cabin, along with our furry companion, Ziggy. We enjoyed the fireplace very much(word of advice - turn down the cabin heat before making the fire inside.) and enjoyed exploring the area, getting on back roads, and taking a hike on the River Trail near the Firemen's Tower. (Which you should go climb) Even Ziggy climbed to the top. We will certainly be back for more adventures in Douglas Fir Cabin and Cook Forest. We hope to venture back to enjoy some snow this winter.
Loved the cabin the minute I walked in. Brought back many wonderful memories of when i went camping as a child with my family. This was a first for my husband. we are celebrating our 25th anniversary. Sunday, after arriving we hiked to the Fire Tower and Scenic Overlook. Monday we hiked Longfellow, Red Eft, Ancient Forest, Tom's Run and Indian Trail. Unless your in top shape I don't recommend hiking Indian Trail from where the Indian Cabins are. The rail there is long and steep. A couple we ran into said they start on the other side so they are walking down the hill to the cabins. We went to Trails End for dinner then came back to the cabin for tea by the fire while hubby enjoyed the Dish Network. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Looking forward to coming back again!
Had a wonderful weekend. My parents, boyfriend, and I were here to celebrate Mother's Day weekend. Friday evening we made a fire, Saturday we had a lovely hike. i estimate it to be 5.5 miles. We went from the Log Cabin Inn - Longfellow Trail - Hemlock - Deer Park Trail - Seneca - Tom's Run Trail - Log Cabin Inn. So lovely! We did some geocaching, exploring, driving, cooking, and relaxing. Made a Mother's Day breakfast of strawberry banana french toast before packing up and taking off. Love Cook Forest, this weekend is once to remember. We were so lucky with the weather too. As it was raining at home.
Me, mom, and my sister Lee came up for out annual weekend getaway. Mom's birthday is in December but we come in January after the holidays are over. This was our fifth anniversary coming in the winter. We usually stay at the Microtel or Forest Lodge but this year we decided to get a real cabin and we are so happy we did! Having the extra space and full kitchen is great. We spend some time visiting our favorite places in the area but mostly we spend time cooking and hanging out at the camp. We never even turned on the TV! Yesterday we took a drive for a few hours to Tionesta sightseeing. The river was beautiful with chunk of ice and the mountainsides were covered in giant icicles. Awesome pictures!! We will be coming back!!

This was my second time staying at Top Hills Cabins. The cabin was very clean and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and wood was delivered when we arrived. I love that there is not a one week minium stay like most other cabins in the area and that we can take our dog! Thank you Lois and Larry!
